  • Our processing includes sizing, grading, and packaging of both in-shell and shelled almonds all done to meet the global market’s rigorous quality standards.

    With Roche Brothers’ recent expansion, we’ve eliminated our hand sorting process by installing two state-of the-art Vantage sorting machines, configured to sort almond products by color, shape and size. Using full-spectrum multi-spectral RGB camera technology, just one of these optical sorters does the work of 4 of the same machines used by our closest competitors and the resulting output product is nearly perfect. This 4-in-1 sorting capability speeds up the process, allowing for expedited sales and payment to the grower. In addition, we have multiple high speed, high spec AI x-ray machines with benefits such as full color LED illumination, NIR cameras and an intuitive operator interface. These X-rays will sort color, pin holes, in-shell and other imperfections that the machines used by our competitors cannot even see. Our Verbruggen scales and double stacking palletizers are the best in the industry. They allow us to be fast, accurate and efficient, which is what we strive for with every load.

    We’ve always prided ourselves on having excellent packing and shipping lead times, but our system allows us to live pack, load, and ship even more promptly than before. We’re able to pack each load in under an hour using this high speed, robotic equipment. We’ve eliminated manual labor, hand sorting and labeling with new automatic equipment, therefore decreasing overhead, operator errors and employee turnover. This allows us to keep product prices competitive in a global market. As a family of 4th generation farmers, Roche Brothers understands the concerns and needs of our grower partners. We pride ourselves on continuously innovating our systems for the success of our growers. We have a grower portal that allows real time access to all important information the grower needs during harvest and post-harvest. The information available includes receiving details with grower tags, truck weights, huller run summaries, USDA results, as well as all sales contracts made between you and RBI. This allows transparency for all growers as well as accessibility to information during all hours. We also pride ourselves on the long-standing relationships we have established with domestic and international buyers which allow us to facilitate quick and reliable sales to efficiently streamline the process for our growers.

Payments to our growers can be tailored to meet your specific needs. Pool payments are available as prompt payments or can be deferred.
